In 1984 Fernando Ribeiro founded Trans Electron together with a partner. In 1993 due to unforseen circumstances the partnership was dissolved and this resulted in registering what is today Trans Electron Transformers, the vision of the company is to become a leading transformer manufacturer and an electrical distributor.

Since 1993 Fernando Ribeiro has focused Trans Electron Transformers on being a specialist transformer manufacturer. With transformer manufacturing being our core focus we are able to manufacture PCB transformers from 1.5VA all the way up to 3MVA power transformers, with voltage ratings of up to 33kv. Currently we manufacture over 80,000kVA per year, our transformer product line includes PCB transformers, power transformers both single and three phase, miniature substations, auto reactors and many more.

We also offer a complete range of switchgear and electrical products. LS Industrial Systems & CHINT offer an affordable and reliable range of switchgear products, these included circuit breakers, contactors, manual motor starters and many other LV & MV switchgear.

We are also the sole importer of RedJacket borehole pumps which complement our water reticulation division.
